Neighboring municipalities are Mairipotaba, Piracanjuba, Morrinhos, Aloândia, Joviânia, Vicentinópolis, Edéia, Edealina and Cezarina.
The climate is hot in summer and mild in winter, with an average annual temperature of 25 °C.
